Maximum Carnage Character Bios and Information - Aram Jacobs/Patchwork by Justin Anderson Aram Wilson Jacobs: birth date- June 23, 1960 height- 6' 6" hair- black eyes- brown Aram Wilson Jacobs was born into poverty. In his home in Germany, he lived with his three brothers, sharing a small home. They had little to eat, and little money. He had dreams of escaping this life. Studying hard, he graduated his classed among the top five percent. Moving out of the country at age nineteen, he continued his studies in the United Kingdom, entering the field of genetic research. His findings made him well-known and wealthy. His face was easily identifiable- a chiseled face, with slick black hair. His height allowed him to stand out in a crowd. Voice training allowed him to remove his German accent. It is also unknown if Aram Wilson Jacobs is his birth name. By 1987, he was one of the world's top genetic researchers, having helped move the field from primitive studies to studies of how genes worked. But he was still a hateful man. He gladly ignores his family as they continued to suffer from poverty and disease. He laughed as his father died. To him, it was another corpse to study. And his fame and money were not enough. He became insane. He wanted nothing short of total world domination. However, he knew he stood no chance as he was. He had no experience in rasing an army, gathering support, and he saw how many others failed continuously due to one reason- mortality. He began a long study into how to lock the genetic code into one phase. Studying the DNA of animals, and regenerative mutants, he discovered the key to tissue regeneration. His eventual discovery of a synthetic drug to boost the immune system by bonding a new code to the X chromosome gave him proof that a genetic bond was possible. By this time, he had built and opened his own private laboratory facility in Manhattan. Studies into stopping the aging process began. However, while he knew it was possible, he hit countless problems. The bonds of all the elements were futile, and resulted in genetic mutations. But each day of work got him closer. But when suspicions over the people he had kidnapped began to point to him, he got careless. A phony prison transfer order gave him a new henchman in Carnage. A good cover story. And he was careful. A wrist device on the killer, capable of sending an electrical impulse stopping his heart at command kept the man at bay and obedient. He also took care of Spider-Man with a hypnotic drug to wipe the hero's mind of several days of memory. Then it happened. The final version of the drug was made. As he made final preparations before the injection, soemthing happened. The immunity drug he had injected Carnage with severed a demonic connection, causing Carnage to immediately reform. The reformed killer, along with the test subject he had used the final drug on, proved to be his downfall. An injection with a phony, tainted drug, combined with repeated gunshot wounds, doomed him. Aram Jacobs was dead. Patchwork: birth date- ??? height- 6' 2" hair- varies eyes- one brown(human), one yellow(octopus) The injured remains of Aram Jacobs were saved by the drug, which had given him regenerative properties. The wounds healed, but the added animal bloods into the serum caused the new tissues to be inhuman. His brain was also injured, many memories wiped. He remembered his former name, and recent events, but most was a mess of garbage he couldn't decipher. He woke on a shore line, finding himself mutated. He did not know how he reacehd the New Jersey shore. Presumably, he was thrown from the building as it fell, but the rest is unknown. He named himself Patchwork. The full extent of his mutations is unknown, but these are known from observation- *patches of brown wolf hair mixed in with his human hair *right eye that of an octopus *several teeth are pointed, either wolf, piranha, or other carnivore *left hand is furry, fingers ending in claws. Wolf features *right hand lacks bones. Fingers are octopus tentacles. Limited finger movement from muscle contractions. Tentacles feature suckers. Strong enough to hold with a tight grip, and can crush a man's skull *height is also affected, presuamable bone damage to spine and legs Patchwork has different drives from his former self. Money and fame no longer matter. He prefers to hide himself. Revenge drove him to hunt and kill those guards he saw abandom him as he lay injured. His hunt ended with Maximum Carnage, who trapped him in an old apartment building and set it on fire. He is believed to be dead, as he has not been seen since. However, official records show no body found in the burnt remains of the building. However, his weakened structure may have led to a total incineration of his body.
